I don't remember when, but when I took a cab from station to my house, I told the name of my area, and asked him to take me there. And he asked me "ok, that's the area there was a murder before, right?". I didn't hear about any murder or crime in my area, so when I got home, I asked my mother if she knew anything about it. She said she knew about it, but didn't tell me a lot about it. Later, my father told me not to ask about it her again, but I didn't ask ask why or have any wonder about it.

I guess more than 15 years have past now.
And accidentally, I found what it happened there.

The victim was 28years old, a mother of 3months baby daughter, and killed by a boy who's mother was Japanese, and father was African-American. And he was 16 years old at that time.

I knew where this murder happened, and I supposed my mom and the victim were good friends.
Both were the same age, and her baby daughter was a month older than I. There were not many families living at that time, so I surely guess they were good friends. There was only one girl who was the same age as I, but she moved to the area when she was 6. Till then, there was nobody who was the same age as I. That means, at that time, my mother and the victim were the only pregnant female then.

I won't ask her anything about this anymore, of course. I can imagine how it was so tragic and horrible for her. Even I don't know this mother and baby, since I read the article, I have been so sad, too.
