I started watching Korean TV drama about a month ago, and this is my first time to try not to miss Asian TV drama. It's quite strange, because I really have to stare at TV, or I can't understand what they say. The words are all Korean and original sound, I only can understand them by reading subtitle.

Other dramas I used to watch never made me like that. Like ER, That '70s Show, Star Trek, or typical TV dramas which are quite popular here in Japan, I could understand almost what they said, and I didn't think I missed anything while I watched them. But this Korean Drama, I have to keep staring at subtitles, or I miss the story. But since watching this drama, I think I have learned some Korean words which I don't think I will use in my future life. I know some pronunciations, but I have no idea for writing or reading.

Korea is the nearest country, but I do not know anything about Korean language.
