it rained in LA. oh my god - it rained in LA!!! 
initially, i thought those strange drops of water were the result of a sprinkler system gone horribly awry. but then i turned on the local "news," and luckily they had also noticed the peculiar water falling from the sky. it turns out this was happening all over the city, as was verified by myriad reporters involved in extensive "team coverage."
when i woke up this morning i was delighted to see that the balance of the universe had been restored and, thus, the rain had been abated.
but now there are hundreds of frogs in my yard.
is that normal?
