I am Jack's utter contempt for humanity.

Wait... this is supposed to be a personal ad isn't it?

Let's try again...

I'm a single white male, and much to my dismay I fall into the bay area commuter category, out the door at 7am in the office by 9am and back home by 8pm. Unfortunately, this presents the impression that I'm a workaholic, which just...

Fatigue is a stange thing...

there is a moment when I can feel the air like a liquid and it seems as though everything is in slow-motion. Out of synch with everything around me I lose the ability to focus or concentrate on anything.

Some people may money to feel like that... I just wish it would stop. Some days I'm not even sure if...

Angelo Badalamenti.... my hero

Soul Coughing... incredible

Cibo Matto... terrific

I am seeing Medeski Martin & Wood on Halloween and Smokey & Miho will be opening. Miho is such a great musician. All of her stuff rocks, from Smokey & Miho to Gorillaz to Cibo Matto. She is very cultured with music which is very refreshing to see nowadays.

I wish I knew Soul Coughing when they were playing shows in NYC. I am dissapointed I missed their live show. It must have been packed with energy. Ahh.... just to see a live improv version of "Casiotone Nation" would have been well worth the price.

Ah.... Angelo Badalamenti. First off, anyone who is David Lynch's right hand man has an honorable position in life. His work on the Twin Peaks soundtrack captivates me daily. His work on Mulholland Drive was splendid. I work at a music store and we get copies of BOSS's monthly magazine. There was a terrific article in one about the musical relationship Lynch and Badalamenti have. It is intense and they mess around with pedals all the time trying to find the best sounds for their work. A terrific team.

Today wasn't the best of days. While it started out ok the later part of the afternoon saw me nearly laying down my motorcycle. Fortunately the right side of my body and the chain-link fence managed to sopport the weigt of the bike and kept it from actually hitting the ground.

I'm just wondering whether or not the scrapes and bruises on my arms and...

Feeling exhausted. Too much to do.

There is, however, a moment of relaxation on the way. A day trip to the Farallon Islands and Deep Sea Fishing in Monterey. It'll be a nice break.

After that I have a Virago 750 to look at... oh how I need a motorcycle,

This feeling is horrible. I can't eat, I can barely keep down water and my sense of smell is gone.

I'll spare the more horrific details of the ordeal... I just want this all to go away.
