First off, I rarely blog. Don't need to, don't want to, too lazy, who knows. But now I feel the need to. Not getting on my moral high horse, just sharing info.
Hurricane (or post tropical cyclone) Sandy made landfall in New Jersey on Monday evening and completely demolished the coastline of the state from Cape May to Sandy Hook. Other states like Delaware, New York, Pennsylvania and even West Virginia have shared in the effects. Now the pitch. If you can donate, volunteer or help out, please do so. American Red Cross, local organizations, or on your own. There is a new organization : Operation #RestoreTheShore that has blossomed out of this to focus on rebuilding NJ. If you have ever been to a boardwalk, beach, dune, lighthouse, carnival or any place in NJ you know how wonderful it is. I know I will be helping out and contributing. If you can, great. Pass the word. Let people know. The beach will be back and hopefully back this summer.
