It's been a long time since my last blog. I decided to write something fast. I cooked a cake for my sister the other day. It's weird because I don't bake. I haven't even so much as a made a cake from a mix in over a decade. Then, I got the weird compulsion to make a real cake. I made a real man cake, from scratch. It was a Bacon Spice Cake. Yes, you read that right. Bacon. I used a Spice Cake recipe and made it with bacon, I even used the drippings instead of oil for the cake. I then made a Maple Cream Cheese Frosting with real dark amber maple syrup and brown sugar. That is all, for now.
