I took my first ever Aikido class. I felt like i was trying to convince my self that i was a graceful dancer in front of 10 people who all actually are graceful. And I also felt like i suddenly forgot left from right. It was very humbling. But wow. Angles. Circles. Balance. Recognition of your own movement. All of this i felt at least a little and I think I can get to that some day. Aikido is art in motion with a touch of "try to hurt me and i will put you on your ass and break you' added. Watching the Sensei show us what we were about to practice took me. How can you control someone else's movement so throughly. You will go where he wants. Aikido is control I guess. Control of everything around you. Your body and the body of who ever is attacking. But there is no cocky in that control. It's like guiding water.
In other news I am thinking about leave SG for good. No real reason. Its just that I get the feeling SG and I are not right for each other anymore. I love my friends. But SG. It is something else now. It is not like it was and I don't know if I like her anymore. And before you ask. Despite what my member since date says I have been around SG since about OCT of 2002. *shrugs*
