A couple of things to said. One is important and one is not at all.
This is the important one. Maybe I just missed the news on this but I was appalled when I read that article. No not appalled. I wanted to go into my bathroom and puke all over the place at how shitty humans can actually get. I guess it is just so unexpected coming from people that serve under the same flag as I do. I submitted a news story about this but I wanted to post it here to just in case they did not approve the story.
And now for the unimportant part.
I can't sleep at night anymore. I have completely fucked up my my rhythms or something. It like it has to be sunny in my room for me to get sleepy.
And on top of that today I have to get up in about 30 mins to go to work. Then we have the trainers where I get to sit in a dark room and listen to static for four hours straight with no break. Hurray for Navy trainers. Ewww. Not like the above story eww but deff eww.
Okay you can go now.

Have you ever read the Dune series by Frank Herbert? In God Emperor of Dune, Leto has established an all female army and there's this big discussion on how female armies are less harmful to those they're meant to protect. I found the whole thing really interesting and it seems kind of applicable in light of the story.
