So apparently my beautiful little 50mm 1.4f lens tricks my camera into thinking that it is collecting more light then it really is. Silly camera. I'll remember this.
Note to self:
- buy light meter
- learn to use light meter
- keeping using light meter
- reshoot flowers at friends house and bask in glory of the most beautiful pictures you have ever taken.
Just so you know the above pictures are not flowers. haha. They are a catalyst. They should help me remember my problem of my pictures being to dark most the time. And another thing which might help, I just now noticed as i was typing this that me exposure comp was set for -2.5 for some reason. Changing that should help. Shame on me. Anyways i meant for those photo to explain my last post a little better.
To paint with light. A beautiful friend of mine on the site mentioned how cool it would be to actually paint with light. Well for me, that is what i do every time i take a picture. I take the image in front of me(the one i see in my head if that makes any sense). And i set my camera up. I press the shutter release and I capture a single moment in time and "paint" it into my cameras memory. I do paint with light. I just use a different sort of brush. I make my flowers with a lens instead of a fan brush. Or a needle
I just wish was better at it. It a start i suppose.
