I'm an odd cookie when it comes to the dating game, even more so in recent history. I keep guys, people in general, at a safe distance because I've dealt with lots of pain, and if you don't get too close you can't hurt that much when you leave. I'm kinda workin on it though. Although, I'm really workin on finishing everything before end of term this week!
Which reminds me, we need to hang out when I go up north in a couple of weeks! It'll be my last chance to go up, more than likely, before spring term madness sets in.
I think you should let her know that you're very happy that you met in the park, and that you had a good time. Give her just enough feedback to know the door is open a crack, enough to know you're a nice guy who's excellent to be around. But don't pursue, and seriously don't pressure her.
And be honest. Sounds like she's the kind of girl that appreciates it.
