I read a magazine called adbusters today and highly recommend you do the same. It will shatter the mock reality of all you ignorants out there.

Having alienated whoever mayb be reading this, I will NEVER work the front desk again. NEVER. Even if they bring me back after Friday. People walk in and want help from the retail reps and I go and try to talk to said retail reps, who NEVER want to help customers despite the fact that it's THEIR FUCKING JOB TO DO SO. I am literally blown off by the floorperson of teh day. She literally refuses to cooperate. In any other line of work, she would be fired immediately. Here, she keeps her job. I now have to sweet talk six people out the door. All of them are not happy. Sure, they could have scheduled an appointment, but nowhere in their homeowner paperwork does it say that clearly, and these people aren't psychic, nor are they bright enough to know to call before you drop by in person.

By the way, I work (but only until Friday) at a cabinet company as an office drone slash backup receptionist (because our receptionist gets one day off a week so she can play golf. Life is fair) and have had my values violated by this company's basic lack of respect for its customers and business. I hope they go under, but since they're owned by mega-conglomerate Masco, who owns about five cabinet companies, it won't. Because monoploies are legal in America. God bless deregulation.
