So I'm finally done traveling for the winter. I had a great time in Boston, Ft. Lauderdale, and San Diego... but now it's time to get back to my routine, and I'm happy about that. I need some regularity to my life. I need my own space and my computer.
California was so sunny and dry and warm. It was almost too nice. The people were really laid back, lots of crazy eccentrics walking around. The streets were wide and the mountains were brown and shrubby. The coast was cliffy and rocky and full of wildlife. I even saw a seal. It was a totally different world. Very unfamiliar to an East Coast girl.
Classes start tomorrow at 9 am... this is going to be a looong semester. I asked my advisor if 3 classes (all with labs and one with field trips also) plus my research work was going to be too much. He basically said to suck it up and do it.
Oh, and one other thing... I'm very upset to see that Adahlia is "no longer active" on the site.
