so this was a decent weekend...
first off, i had the pleasure of meeting the beautiful and very awesome morgan. all the good things people say about her have been proven true. she has to be one of the friendliest people i've ever met. she most likely endorses my own reputation of being creepy and weird.
after that, i spent saturday visiting my ex-girlfriend. we're doing the "let's still be friends" thing that generally never works. it's a weird situation of course, but the day went amazingly well. that's especially good considering we've been fighting a lot recently, since we're both finally moving on to other people, though nobody in particular yet.
in other news, i just ordered some materials online, out of which i plan to make some small (2" long) ignitors for lighting campfires. i don't really need them i guess. i was a boy scout. but i'm also very lazy. i don't particularly like spending several hours finding dry twigs 'n such. over the years i've tried using things like lighter fluid, gasoline, fire-starting paste, and various other flammable substances... but none of those are completely sufficient for my laziness. so in traditional pyro-style, my ignitors will employ a mixture of thermite, which burns at something like 4500 degrees fahrenheit, with a resulting product of molten iron. "overkill" is a friendly word.
unfortunately i have no updates on the bug today. i was too busy with exams last week to do anything on it, and this weekend was only so long. progress will be slow-going for a bit, as it's now the final third of the semester and i have a lot of catching up to do in my three math classes. finals are going to suck, but hopefully i'll get some work done over christmas break? we'll see how well that works out.
das ist alles.

oh yeah, and typically you would reply to a comment in the other person's journal, not your own.
