It's friday and that means another week of mindless toil has come to an end.
At work today we had a potluck being thrown by our new boss and warehouse neighbor from the purchasing dept. The four of us arrived at work at the usual time and combined our assorted goods. We had a meager plate of tiny hot dogs and some chips and salsa with a few microwavable pizza roll things (probably totaling somewhere between 5-8 bucks total.) At 11 we strategically placed ourselves in prime positions to attack the piles of food others had generously brought and then we brutally pillaged the break room in which the event was hosted. For our donation of freezerburned microwavable morsels placed haphazardly on paper plates we managed to eat ourselves sick off of the contributions of others. And that, my friends, is most likely the only reason to attend any company function.
And afterwards I went to lunch.

Now I must go as the spawn has discovered a secret cache of small change under the furniture and I need to keep him from finding out that pennies and dimes are not meant for human consumption.
