Well, done in Regina. It sucks that we were only there for two weeks as opposed to the four or five we were booked for.

Got two days for rest then I'm over to two other jobbies. So frickin' tired though. I hadn't slept in 38 hours when I got home. Had a nice nap tonite.

So, quick update before I jet back to work.

Work's going OK, but the dayshift is kinda fucking us night guys around (ie, not doing much work, or just doing shitty setups, like setting the wrong frequency for the wrong material.) The guys on my crew are a riot, making the crappy days a bit better.

I forsee a major studio expansion soon. Mostly comprising of rack gear (MIDI patchbay, new mixer and outboard fx etc).

And - gonna build a ghetto hybrid drum kit. Homemade drum trigger pads, PVC stand and all. Gonna try to secure some big plastic chemical drums next month and wire those up as well, all fed into an Alesis D4. MMmmm.
