Not a very busy weekend, I'll say.

Friday was the opening game for HS football, and as expected, my brother's team lost. Unfortunely, there wasn't much need for the offensive line, so thus he didn't get much field time. If only he were still a DB.

This awesome little dachshund was cool. He kept staring inquisitively at the throngs of screaming students.


Saturday... well, the weather was shitty all day, so it was basically just a case of relaxing. I spent most of the afternoon getting my ass handed to me by the Amiga while playing BattleChess. That game sits high in my favourites list - it's just that awesome.

One of the CPU's pawns sacked my knight. Cheap bastard.


Didn't do much today. Tried sleeping in, but that didn't work out due to my mom having to babysit. The kid's alright, but he loves to talk your ear off. I dug out a whole pile of my old toys from the storage room, but that only kept him occupied for a short while. Ah well.

Caught the repeat of the season ender of Doctor Who, but missed the first 15 minutes. I reeeeally hope the boxed DVD that's to be released in November will be available in Region 1.


Also... why does everyone seem to think I'm weird because I've been snacking on pickled jalapenos? Every time I'm in the kitchen, I'll grab a handful and munch on 'em.
