I've just been hit by a sledge-hammer. My girl just phone from France to tell me she's been offered a job in China fo two years.
This came completely out of the blue. She's asked me to go with her. I'm, still digesting the news.
Come on girls---advice please.

Spoke again with my girl tonight. Not a good conversation.
Her focus is totally on the opportunity and not our relationship.
I think the senisble things to do is let her go on her own and
let the relationship lapse. I'll miss her, but I think I'm also tough enough to move on.
Anyone feel like taking me out to dinner?

Just had another call from my girl in France. She's decided to turn down the China job to stay with me. It must be love after all.
I just hope I don't live to regret her decision....I really must try to make life good for her over the next few months.

Well if it's really love...there's no question....you'll find a way to make it work. Two years is a long time but it's definitely doable. China would be awesome to check out.....if you don't have to be tied down because of your job....i would consider it...but then again don't make plans to do it if you werent serious about her..
