OK the ex-girlfriends/partners saga continues. A lady I lived with for a couple of years has just moved into a new apartment near me with her new beau. Would I like to come for dinner? Well why not? Thencame the request. Did I still have those hanging rails in my garage...." you know, the ones you had for your dressing room in the big house."

Apparently the new love nest lacks hanging space. So for the free dinner I have to lug round a couple of chrome hanging rails on wheels. Now I'll never know if the dinner invite was genuine.

But this saga doesn't end there. I've had another call from yet another ex who now lives in France. She's planning a trip to the UK next month and wondered if she could
call in to see me. We last spoke about six months ago. Now remember this is not just one of my friends...she was my lover for more than a year. When we split I presumed it was for each to go their own way. Now I get the feeling that some women feel that once they've shared a bed with a man they somehow take permanent ownership, to be recognised whenever they see fit. Ok it's maybe flattering to know that I'm still in their good books so to speak, but I also find it a little uncomfortable to be in their company, especially if there's a new man in tow.
Am I too sensitive?
