Damn it. parisambrosia's journal has got me thinking about France again...living only sixty miles away it's a great temeptation to go there often.....two and a half hours by fast ferry, two hours by train ( Eurostar).
But I'm hardly going to finish my book sitting outside some fucking French cafe people watching. (For people watching read: long legged ladies with the greatest asses in the world). In fact France itself is like some incredibly beautiful lady..stylish,ellegant, intoxicating, sweet smelling, flirtatious, mysterious and expensive.
You are probably aware of the love hate relationship we Brits have with the French. Personally I think it's about envy. We both want bits of each other.
I say 'Vive la difference'.

we've found a couple of houses to look at so far but we can't go inside untill monday. i hate waiting!!! it makes me jittery and frustrated. i'm into the instant gratification shit which sucks because things always seem to turn out better if you have patience. oh well. i'll live.
