High street shop windows and ubiquitous festive musak tells me Christmas is nearly upon us. Although not a practicing Christian and having a Chinese aethist girlfriend I ,nevertheless, have a really soft spot for everything associated with the Christmas holidays. But my girl tellls me we shouldn 't really bother this year and focus on New Year instead. So no decorations, parties or present giving before December 31. That's sad. But I guess I love her enough to concede to her will and get my Christmas fix in the High Street.
