so i am sitting staring at my computer wondering why the hell everyone knew it was my birthday. (Rick gladly filled me in on the secret
) but..........
THANK YOU all so much!!! we went to see my parents for a day of our trip and they didnt even remember my birthday. but it takes them a few days every year for the idea to sink in. my dad is an extreme procrastinator. i mean, i just got my christmas presents from last year when i went up to see them last month!

our vacation was awsome. RockinRicky really mader it the BEST birthday ever! (he paid for our whole trip)
we went up to Boston for 2 nights...first night we went out to elements at the Pheonix Landing. (one of Bostons longest running drum and bass nights) then the next night all of his old friends came over that he hadnt seen in years and a big party was thrown. at midnight everyone sang happy birthday to me...a whole room full of people i had JUST met!
(i can be kinda shy when put on the spot - but it was so very thoughtful!) we had full toodling around boston during the day. loooooong time since i had been there, let me tell you!
so then we drove up to Nashua New Hampshire for his best friends wedding party...it was the most non-formal hitching i have ever seen! the actual wedding involved only, like, 5 people. just parents were invited i think. and then everyone was invited to the reception which was a street clothes, grass skirt, coconut bra wearing, hawaiian barbeque!!! 
OMFG! it was a blast!!! everyone got wasted. even grandparents!
the next day we drove down to Cape Cod and visited my parents. my dad took us out in his motor boat - rick had never been on one and i hadnt in more than 5 years! we stayed at my moms for the night and had dinner and stuff. i finally saw the movie "a beautiful mind" and know why everyone thinks it so damn awsome!
then we drove back here. and now i am back from my awsome vacation to my everyday mundane life. but its ok...i really needed that trip.
