this is why i dont write long journal entries. just as soon as i get on a roll my computer magically switches itself to my hotmail address book! WTF?!?! i really was saying some good stuff too!

well, here is the abridged version anyways...not so flowery...

so i caught this flu-thing from my son, who is fine at this point, but now i am miserable...yay...

but on a lighter note...i am going on a much needed vacation the day after tomorrow (thursday). i know, i know, i just went up to my parents up north about a month ago...but c'mon...its my parents. thats not a vacation! if anything its more work!!!
this time its just me and RockinRicky. and about damn time...if i do say so myself!

so joEy stopped by the other day on his crossUSadventure. im really glad i met him. it would have been nice to hang out longer than a day but thats ok. i know i will see him again at some point in time. have a good time on the rest of your trip Joe! dont forget to txt me on occasion!

okay...what else now that i am on a roll...hmmm...

i have been watching Donnie Darko. yea, yea, yea...i know half of you think its a crap movie and the other half are part of a cult following...but i want to know what the big deal is. when i first saw it i took it for nothing more than a badly made movie about some kid litterally going crazy. i dont know much more about it now but there has got to be reason more than that for it be as popular as it is.

why hasnt anyone made a movie about a kid (not adult...i know those are out there) actually going crazy and showing it through his eyes...like this movie, but not apparently...i think i was happier thinking that there was no hidden meaning...that he really was just going crazy.

oh well...
