Blast!!

Stuck at work on 6:00 on a friday night. Waiting for a call from a client.

So, you've seen the Internet ads for Dirty Love, the bimbo-tacular new movie starring Jenny McCarthy and Carmen Electra? Well the official movie site is hosted on my company's web servers. The bandwidth they are using is over 8 times what we had sold them.

So here I...

Speaking of irony...

I'd like to give a big "what's up" to the motherfucker who stole my bike from outside of Bender's Tavern last night.

See what happens when you don't knock on wood.

Sorry, but I really needed that bike. It was a tasty-looking bike, and I was hungry.

I'm either the most lucky or the least lucky person I know. All these crazy things will happen, some bad and some good. The result is always positive, or at least wacky.

For instance, Saturday night. I was at a pizza shop with my neighbors at around last call. There's a lot more to the story then this, but to sum up... Someone decided to...

I remember watching American Chopper once, and realizing the fight between Paul and Jr. was totally scripted.

It's fun to watch your favorite celebritys fighting, isn't it?
obrien:
I like when you and I fight and I beat your ass.... blackeyed
When we drinking again pal?
cheech:
In every reality show, the fights are taking place in front of 3 or 4 cameras... tell me how you can act naturally in front of 1, let alone a bank of cameras. You can't. It's all artificial.

I was watching that every day for a while, but realized they kept (once again) artifically cooking up these "big serious deadlines," but when you realize they have several projects going on in the shop at once it's like- if they ever reeally needed one done, they have like 7 or 8 people there to do it.

It's a good show, but like Pimp My Ride a certain sameness sets in if you watch it very often.

If I had my own business, I would run it however I wanted. If anybody wanted to change how I decided to run it, I'd probably react negatively. My company, my rules. Don't like it? Go start your own.

Although it is unfortunate when business and friendship start to irritate eachother. Bottom line, I suppose...

It's business.

Moving is still not done, I'm not going to be able to clean the carpet in the old place, so I'm crossing my fingers that I get some of my deposit back. My couch wouldn't fit through the door of my appartment, so I had to leave it on the sidewalk. My cable is all fucked up, so I have fuzzy basic cable and no...

I will get it from you later this week.

I'm sure I won't want to spend the entire night with a bunch of drunken PR chicks from MinneSOOOOta.
heatherann:
I actually emailed him asking me to take me off of his forward list if he had no interest in contacting me otherwise.

I am a bitch.

And I love it.

robot RIP Robert Moog

Robert Moog, 71, died on August 21, 2005.
He was recently diagnosed, in April, with an inoperable brain tumor.
He was of the godfather of the synthesiser.
Robert Moog was born in 1934 in New York City. When he was a child, his mother encouraged him to study music, so he learned to play the piano. Meanwhile, he spent a great deal...

It's the stories of men like this and Philo Farnsworth that resonate with me most strongly. Those who don't even have a chance to fade into obscurity, but are always obscure. Even when their passion or science has made a lasting impact on society.
cheech:
Moog synth songs are some baaad assss shit. I got a whole bunch from a CD comp, copied em for Anti and Isa a while back. "Kinky Peanuts" is my jam.
