...and things went alright for a few days. The house looked more empty than full, things had been organised, my car was ready to be imported back to the mainland... and then disaster struck. The gearbox in the BMW shat itself. And there's no one on the island qualified to diagnose it let alone fix it.
Have any idea how much a 6 speed automatic gearbox for a 1997 BMW costs? You seriously don't want to know. I don't have time to deal with this!

and still the excel takes more money, so I'm at the corssroads of whether i should go the loan and get a new vehicle.
incidentally its field hockey that's killing me now because of a long layoff forced by an injury sustained whilst playing ice hockey.
