The morning seems numb, cold as it be.
I fail to make believe, what others may see.
I let the chill of a thousand pills run down the throat of I
and now we wait for the morning to pass
so eternally I rest somewhere amognst the grass.

The morning sun tests my skin, kicking me until I begin.
I lessen the grip on the hand rest teasing her lips.
But now as I hide the only thought come to mind
was to lay me next to her side and never come back up
for air.
