Right now I am quite sick. I stayed home yesterday cause I was sick too. This morning I got onto the subway and felt so sick I had to turn around. This means 2 days in a row of not showing up at the office. I think I'm probably going to be fired, even though I am genuinely sick. If I'm not fired I'll probably be going to Buffalo in a week or so. I even missed Charlotte Martin last night which I've been psyched about for months. If I do get fired the only bright side would be getting to go to Liz Phair's acoustic tour, not to mention The Pixies and Sleater-Kinney which I already have tix to that will most likely go unused should I be working.

Edit to add: As of now I am not fired, and Liz Phair's 2 NY dates sold out in an extremely fast amount of time, also so did the NJ (closest to NY) screening of "Serenity" that I'm dying to see. Also there is 0 chance of me making it out to Jones Beach to see the Pixes so if someone is interested let me know. I'm not sure when I'm leaving for Buffalo, but it looks like next week is the most likely date.
