This monkey's gone to heaven
Alright so about 10 minutes ago I secured an 8th row center ticket to see The Pixies!!!!! How fucking kick ass is that?
Yesterday I did my first PA job. It was kind of a trial thing so we'll see if they actually decide to keep me on. No pay but at least I'd be on set. Every muscle in my body is killing me. I was lugging shit around all day then worked as the boom op for about an hour (which is painful if you don't know). It was for some asian channel and what they were filming were these things that go before, after, and during a kind of miniseries, kinda like the show dinner and a movie but without a movie. At least that's what I understood. Its going to be on IATV (Imaginasian TV) and the thing is called The Lounge, and the show they are airing was called Melody of the Heart or something like that if you happen to have the channel, which I do not. Anyway I did all this on absolutly no sleep. At least it was all in one location which happened to be a club in koreatown. Next week I have a job (paying this time) as an AC on a political talk show pilot. I've never been an AC but they hired me and I never made up any experience or anything so I guess I'll learn on the job.

BTW, saw the Pixies in October and they weren't too good.
Showed their age..but it was at the end of the tour and they
were tired.
