So I did another quite impulsive thing today. I went out and got my nipple pierced. I'll take a picture of it tomorrow but right now I'm kinda traumatized. So I get it done (at supposedly a good place, I thought they did a great job so I'm not putting them down at all) and immediatly am gushing blood. Not like a little, like tons. Anyway after like 10 mins the guy bandages me up and says "don't take that off till you have to". Then I go down the block to the SGNY event happening. I like an idiot get a beer and about a half hour later look down to find my shirt covered in blood and the stuff just running down my body. I run into the bathroom to try to clean up, take off the gauze cause its soaked through entirely and put some paper towels on it. As I'm leaving the bathroom I see the lovely JaiDee and tell her I think I gotta go to the emergency room. She takes a look and in her wisdom tells me I need some peroxide then goes off to get it. She takes care of me and I keep pressure on it but my shirt is covered in blood so I hop in a cab and get myself to a train station closer to home. The bleeding stops by the time I get to the subway but at Union Street the fucking train breaks down (they said "there's a switch problem at 36th and this train will not be moving indefinatly"). So I try to find a car service and as I'm doing this start bleeding again. Finally I get home and I'm still bleeding pretty badly and its not letting up. I decide I now need medical assistance and head to the hospital (its like 3 blocks from my house). Once I get in I check and see I've stopped bleeding, so I stand around the hospital and wait to see if it starts again. It doesn't so I head home and now its all covered in gauze and medical tape again. Hopefully that's all for the bleeding. I don't like blood. Anyway I'll be keeping away from alcohol for a few days just to be sure. I hope I can get the blood out of my shirt. Its a Who tour shirt that I don't want to part with.
