So the guest bartending gig didn't go well. The only person to show up was my ex girlfriend who didn't even want to drink. I had to beg her into ordering something more than a coke. The place was totally empty. Not a single person other than me and the regular bartender. I so felt like shit sitting there with no one showing up. Then I come in to find that the place I interviewed at on Tuesday actually called the bartending school to place a help wanted notice on their website, which they probably got the school's info off of my resume. And it seemed like their problem with me was that I didn't have any hosting experience, but in this ad they mention a host no where. Fuckers. I even sent them a nice e-mail thanking the manager for the interview, I woulda called but when I tried she wasn't there and I'm not going to call like 50 times to thank someone for an interview. Anyway I guess the search continues. I'm going to get a little more creative with my resume, maybe that'll help.
