So the computer died again. Got it fixed by someone that knew what they were doing. Now I just have to re-install every piece of software. There goes the next month. 
It turns out the problem was there was a power surge, and even though I thought a surge protector is supposed to guard against such things (c'mon its in the name) apparently not. I still can't get a hold of the fucking temperature in here... its never at a comfortable level, its either burning hot or ice cold and will go between the two in half a second.
My ex is in Chicago with her new bf which I hate so much and I had the weirdest experience today when out of nowhere this girl I had dated for 2 years gives me a call. She has a baby now. She's 20. There's a long fucked up story there but that's not mine to tell. Anyway I haven't seen her in 2 years and we went to the mall cause she was getting baby pictures taken at sears...of course she doesn't trust my driving ability enough to let me drive her and the kid so she makes me take the bus with her. If anyone has ever taken the bus to the staten island mall you know that particular hell, actually if you've ever been to the staten island mall you know what that place is like. The whole thing was weird.
In other news I've decided that yes indeed I would like a vacation and I think I'm going to start planning a road trip for the spring. I don't know to where, but I'm thinking maybe California. My biggest obstacle is that I don't wanna do it alone, roadtrips are much funner when you have someone to share the experience with so I'm gonna see if I can find someone to go with me.

it's amazing how peoples true personalities and opinions of each other come out during a road trip. it's like 1 year of share housing squashed into 3 days
