So I had a pretty good time at the Comic Con this weekend. Some people didn't have such a great time, or even get in for that matter. I lined up at 5:45 on Saturday morning to get my special events tickets. I got my badge and walked around the showfloor on Friday but I didn't bring any money with me since I really just came to get a feel of the layout and pickup my badge for Saturday. I wish I would've bought my stuff then. I didn't get back onto the showfloor until 6pm on Sat and it closed at 7.
Anyway I saw Kevin Smith, Todd McFarlene, Joe Quesade, John Romita Jr., Milla Jovovich (
), and got to see Art School Confidential. ASC was pretty good. If you liked Ghost World you'll enjoy it. I didn't go Sunday simply cause I was exahausted. I heard Frank Miller was supposed to do an interview thingy on Sunday afternoon but I didn't want to bother.
Really I'm only upset that I didn't get to see Frank Miller or Brian Bendis (though I did get the first Powers TPB signed by Oening, and the book only cost me $10) and that I didn't get more time to browse around on the floor and spend way more money than I can afford.
