Last night I saw Fiona Apple who was just beyond awesome. She put on a show that was so incredible I can't even put it into words. The emotion was unlike anything I've seen. Its almost like she was singing every song for the first time, still dealing with the raw emotions, even in the older stuff. She did mostly newer stuff but did a lot of older stuff too. She did a version of "Criminal" that gave me chills and closed with just her solo on "Parting Gift" that was haunting. She was really scared and talked about how nervous she was and at one point she was introducing the band and her voice was shaking.

Friday I saw X which was another great experience. Fiona was better but X was almost historic. They did a great job and put on a really really good show. I have a bunch of pics I took at that show. I have none from Fiona cause they wouldn't let people take them, not even with camera phones.
