One of the things I've been frustrated about lately is there aren't any girls in any of my classes that I am even attracted too. It's nice to crush on someone, even if it's only a fantasy, but there aren't any girls at all in my video class and I don't think I have much it common with the girls my other class. What I really like to find is someone who loves science and astronomy and music like I do, but those girls are few and far between.

I don't really have a choice. When I first came to college it was okay for me to not have a job because I didn't go out nearly as much, lived on campus (so less driving/gas money) and more or less didn't do much of anything. So a $100 allowance per month from my family was fine.

Now, between the fact that I live offcampus, I go out far more often, I have to pay for my internet and food and whatnot, there's no way $100 would cover it all. Add into it that my younger sister is pregnant and my youngest sister will also be going to college in a few years, there's just no way my parents can afford to support me fully anymore. It's really tough sometimes, especially when there are times, for example, when I just want to hang out with my boyfriend but I can't because I have to read for my classes tomorrow, which I will attend after working 6-9 am and after those classes pretty much all I can do is eat some lunch and crash before heading to my evening class. (Which is more or less a modified version of what I did yesterday/today - thankfully I only have evening class on Tuesday.)

Maybe it's a good thing because you don't settle? And you're selective and know what you want?
