I'm feeling really sort of disconcerted and uneasy right now and I'm not sure why. I was hanging out with my friend Zak. We started looking up stuff about cars on his computer. I was quite appalled to see all sorts of pop-ups and toolbars and stuff that made me think the computer had spyware on it. Perhaps the whole thought of people spying on me for malicious reasons is what is bothering the most. Without thinking I started to download Spybot: Search and Destroy at which point he got a little mad because I didn't ask. I felt really bad about it. My intentions were good but not asking was really rude. We came to talking about Internet security and key loggers and stuff and he said something like "So someone could know everything I typed?"
"Yes, it's one of the things worries me, but at least everything I do online is legal" I replied.
"Except for the porn," he said, trying to pull my strings.
"I'm pretty sure what I do is legal" I replied.
But then he said something that really through me through a loop. "Yeah, I used to be addicted to that stuff, evil stuff." Don't you hate it when people lay guilt trips on you? So maybe that's what's bothering me. I don't think I really feel guilty, though. Spybot found 160 problems on his computer. It's saddening how people will compromise others privacy like that. I'm glad that I help Zak get rid of the spyware. He's a good friend even if he annoys me sometimes.
Another thing that's been sort of bothering me is my clumsiness. It seems like the harder I try to do something right the more I mess up. I guess it's just the way I am. Anyway, all these things together add up to a queasy feeling in my stomach.

Wait. What's illegal about porn? Did I miss something? Are you actually only 16 years old? (And even then, my only problem with younger guys looking at porn is that they will get the silly idea in their heads that 1) real girls look like that and 2) real girls like being in uncomfortable positions and 3) girls like that, who don't really exist, will someday want to be their girlfriend/fuckbuddy/whathaveyou. Even the SGs undergo a fair amount of airbrushing.) In any case, I fail to understand what is so evil about porn. Girl gets paid to take clothes off. Guy pays to see naked girl. It's a transaction, nothing more.

I am differently not 16, so when he said that I was like "huh?" Of coarse, with Alberto Gonzales in the justice department the first amendment's days may be numbered.
