Almost done with the patio and I'm fucking tired.
Going to go see Once Upon A Time In Mexico at lunch. Hopefully it will blow the doors off of Desperado. I'm excited!
My cat is a freak. He's playing in his litter box right now, and I have no idea what he's up to.

Work, work, work, work... I'm working on a 3 minute film and trying to get everything together cause its supposed to be done by Oct. 14. I have a grand idea, but its gonna take a lot of work.
Began re-working my website http://www.bittermanproductions.com and writing out the screenplay for my 3 minute horror film. For some reason I'm not coming up with anything good at the moment. Hopefully I think of something soon.

Went to go see my old band last night. They were alright, but lacked the enthusiasm that they needed. I still had fun moshing and playing pool with an attractive young lady.

I am definitely interested in doing some work if you have any openings. email me vv917@aol.com

epiphany:
Did you feel weird watching your old band and not being up there playing? How long ago did you leave the band? I'm glad you had fun.
We got a manager now and he's working on getting us back to AZ. We're shooting for early November. Whoo hooo!

Its so very quiet around here. All my friends are off doing other things or resting after surgery. I have a local filmmakers mixer tonight, along with going to go see my former band play. I was also hoping to muster up a date this weekend, but the conditions have to be just right for me to cross paths with this woman again, so *crosses...

I work 4pm-2am Thurs-Sunday nights. All of the Phoenix Metro area events are held in those same time blocks. I was only able to make it to the last half of 1 of them because it was held nextdoor to my workplace. Inara is all bent out of shape because I called her 'participate or get booted' post stupid. It would seem that I've gotten the boot for having a job.
So yeah, my responce to her powertripping rant was a little snide. However, it was no less rude than the post/thread that inspired it.
Please please, join the group - if you can - and read it for yourself. Don't let either one of us mold your opinion.
thanks for paying attention and letting me know I'm not the only one that notices,

People aren't paying money to join SGAZ. It's a private group I started that I allow members of the site to join at my discretion. I started the group so that local members could plan outings and for that purpose only. That is a statement that is disclosed on the first page of the group when you submit to join. If people are just wanting to talk back and forth with other local members, and have no intention of coming out to group outings, then there is a feature on the hookup page of the site where you can search for people in your area. SGAZ was never intended to be open to lurkers. If you poke around the other regional groups, I'm sure you'll find that to be a common requirement. As a regional group owner, I am also a group member of another group called "Regional Group Owners" where the other owners of regional groups can discuss issues they may be having with thier group. This is a common misconception for regional groups everywhere, and the people who join thier groups just to poke around whenever they feel like it and not ever attend a group outing is something that doesn't really go with what the group was even designed for. This entire site is designed for people to interact with one another. The one key element my group was founded on is creating social gatherings for SG members in Arizona. If that's not what a person is interested in doing, then I'm the first to say it's not the group for you.
On the subject of the photographs, unlike lurkers, they belong in the group and they will remain in the group so that people who participate in group events can view pictures of the events they attended. It's not that the photographs are too personal, it's that why should someone who didn't even want to show up for this event have the right to look at how much fun we had? To me, and the other members I've discussed this with it's an invasion of privacy, and that is why I've had to try and come down harder on the members who still don't seem to get what the group is there for.
It also *IS* my job to worry about the other people in the group. There is a designated amount of responsibility that goes with managing a group of members that by definition, are going to be attending get togethers and meeting eachother personally. This si something that's been explained to me by those who run this site. And I'm not one to fall short of protecting the integrity and authenticity of the group I am responsible for. I have a responsibility to insure each member will be safe at all functions, and I can't garuntee something like that when there are people in the group I've never met or spoken with (see lurkers). I hope that makes sense to you.
In other larger regions where there may be 150+ members, a person is not even allowed to be accepted to the group unless they've been to an official event and invited by another established member. As you can tell, I haven't been this strict with my policies. All I ask is that the people I *HAVE* allowed to join show up for events once they're in. I don't think this is too much to ask since, once again, that's why the group is there.
In caddok's case, he wasn't a lurker. He was just a member who didn't contribute to that specific conversation appropriately. He was booted under that reason alone. Not because he "has a job" or whatever he says it was about. And I have no misrepresentations about that fact. The unfortunate part was that caddok wasn't even part of the problem I was trying to remedy. Everyone knew he worked a schedule that didn't always permit him to come out with us. And in fact it was clarified complettely that the problem was with the people who never came out because they didn't want to, not because they couldn't. If he'd payed more attention to the other posts on the topic before *HE* got all bent out of shape, it probably would have saved everyone a lot of grief. He created an entirely different problem with the way he addressed me and the rest of the group in that thread.
I hope this sheds some light on the subject for you.

Alright you crazy muthafuckers...its weekend wrap-up with your host, Rocko Bitterman.
What are three things you learned this weekend?
1. Motorhead is LOUD and can drink like muthafuckers.
2. Phillip Anselmo is full of himself, and can't hang like the old days in Pantera.
3. In LA, everyone wants to talk about themselves.
Who are three people you met in LA?
1. Bob, the Paramount...

I agree your old band should dedicate songs to you because you are nice enough to let them use the songs you wrote and still come out to shows to support them. Hmpppff!
What did you do to the patio?
