If you dig movies or end up seeing something in LA, then by all means make sure you take the time and make the effort to go to The Arclight (www.arclightcinemas.com).. If you dig music then spend a few minutes or hours at Amoeba records, probably the biggest & best indie record store out there... shit I'm sure CitySearch can suggest some other cool places too...

Saw Bowling For Columbine and I enjoyed it. A lot of good points, which I saw in myself. I'm a paranoid freak who's way to interested in protecting his own material goods. Made me realize I needed to lighten up. Of course I don't own guns and I'm fairly anti-gun. Still a damn good flick.
