I'm super sleepy!! I shall kill some time writing in my SG blog. I have an hour left for my chili to achieve it's slow-cooked perfection. I just got a Crock Pot, like 3 weeks ago. Do you have one of these? This thing totally rules. I made a bad ass chicken stew first, and now some easy, easy chili. I should have started the chili earlier, it's true. Of course, If I didn't you wouldn't be subjected to this boring journal entry about my new crock pot. I'm a way better cook then that time with those nasty pork chops, Meg. I can branch out though...I can talk about other food I've cooked lately...just stop reading now, seriously.
Beer Cheese Soup: I fucked this one up a little bit. I accidentally added too much beer, and I was two cups short on milk. It was okay, but just a tad bitter. I got some more milk and reheated it the next day, it was delish. I got a little drunk the next night and thought it could use some more cheese. I dug an old bag of sharp cheddar that had been in the back of the fridge...not so delish. It kind of curdled, and I had to throw it out. The pot did a good job of cleaning up though. Good thing it did too because I made...
Spicy Seafood Soup: This was awesome. Like seriously awesome. I didn't make enough though. It only lasted two nights. You see, the goal is to make a good, healthy meal in bulk. Once it's done, I eat all week. Naturally since the chick has been staying over so often, it really cramps my bachelor eating style. I find myself saying things like "But baby, how could you not want refried beans for the fourth night in a row?"
To me, this is ludicrous. Simplify, dammit! It's all home cooked, all from scratch, and it tastes damn good! Plus if I take 6 hours to cook a pot of beans, they god damn better last me a week.
Since this has not taken me an hour to write, I have taken a picture of my crock pot as it cooks my chili.

Pretty sweet pot holder huh? That's the one Noir made me before she took off to the UK.
Since I've shown the pot holder, you might as well see the orange monster she made me too.

And since I still have 20 minutes left until I can go to bed, here's a picture of my Hank III autograph:

That's all I got.
