I always told myself I'd never date a girl who already has a kid. Well . . . here I am, seeing Becky for nearly four months, and her son Reese will be turning one at the end of the month. It's intresting to say the least. Her kid is pretty mild mannered, so that's a bonus.

My roommate put into perspective for me. he said something like: When you get this age you have to expect to date women with kids. If they don't have any they're either carrier women who don't want kids yet, or there's something wrong with them.

I suppose I'm almost old enough to handle dating a girl with a kid. If it's going to happen sooner or later, might as well get into it now.
