Today at work 5 count them 5 people were fired. Wow. Anyway 4 of them were no good so fuck them. One was a Land Rover tech who seemed to like smoking more than actually working on cars. Another was a porter who had been warned 3 times to slow down while driving customers cars. He wouldn't listen and was let go. 2 where just salesmen, but who really cares about them, since well they're just salesmen. They'll be replaced in a matter of days or might have been replaced today, who knows? The only one I was surprised was a Jaguar tech who just did his work, never caused any problems other than being the butt of a few jokes. It seems he told a warranty auditor a shortcut around doing a fuel pump recall. This was at a Jaguar training center. That was a big no no. Considering recalls are safety issues and fucking one up could be fatal. The training center called over to the dealership on Friday and he was let go this morning.
