So last weekend I went to a Ren Fair in Los Angeles and I really enjoyed it. I'm a noob so I didn't dress up or anything but we were with some people who did and go every year. So we had a bit of an insider's perspective because she knew all the cool performers to see. I want to go again. Maybe I'll dress up. I don't know but you can rent costumes there. I thinkIf really like I might even create a character. I'll do the research and see what type of Ren era person I'd like to be. I guess it's deeply personal. I noticed that most people seemed common or peasant looking but then there were people who were dressed to be upper class or royalty. There were even people playing Arabian travellers and a few pirates. Aarr.
