I'm so excited!

I hear what you are saying, loud and clear. I have my own small business, and I understand the value of advertising. I totally agree about the need to get new products and ideas out there. I just think that it is a shame that I can't pick up a magazine nowadays without flipping through 20 pages of ads before I get to the first content, or watch a hockey game without gaudy ads cluttering up the boards and the ice surface. I guess I am just jaded and feel like we as a society are way too into consumerism. I just feel like it's gotten out of hand.
