It's been a good week!
This past weekend I went to St. Jacobs. We went antique shopping...well more like browsing. I came across the funniest sign ever. No word of a lie it said "Drink Kunts".
I would of taken a picture but with it being an Antique Shop and all, they would frown upon that.
In the same shop we came across a section of WWII artifacts. More specifically Nazi artifacts
Helmets, knives, medals.... I didn't even think you are legally allowed to own any of that stuff.
On Tuesday, I went to see Nickelback, Seether and Saving Abel. I was there for Seether but the other bands put on a great show. Shaun from Seether came out during Nickelback's set and did a killer version of "Hey man, Nice shot".
Still been feeling not too good. Nothing major, but am now on some heavy fucking duty antibiotics. I think the dose is too high actually. Been walking around with a minor headache since I started them.
I got my final pay from work early.
....Then I got a cheque for my vacation pay and realized they shorted me.... over $400.00.
Luckily the agency hasn't fully dissolved and had someone in the office to rectify their mistake. Now that also means they have to adjust my Record of Employment and now I can't put a claim in for Employment Insurance until they fix their mistake. It's now going to take longer to get money
Also I decided although it would be nice to have some time off (I am totally happy my husband wants me to take some time off), It's just not practical at this point. Even though it looks like there is job security for my husband, it doesn't mean it's actually there. Waiting for the other shoe to drop is not fun. I know things in this city aren't going to get any easier. One of the city's major source of income just got shut down.
I forgot to add the best news yet! I got a new camera!!! Hubby surprised me with it a day before the concert! Since he lost my last one, he bought me one to make up for it. It's far from an actual professional one, but that will all come in due time!
