Once again I have been reminded and amazed by the influence one person can have over another.
What specifically brought this up was the fact that I went to meet my closest and oldest friend for drinks tonight, and she made several sincere statements that really struck home. However, the specific difference between just about anyone else (be they friend, family, significant other, ect) making these comments is that she has such a tried and true knowledge about the kind of person I am that I find it impossible to argue otherwise, as would typically be in my nature.
