Hunter S Thompson commited suicide today.
for three months after I read it I carried around a copy of The Rum Diaries with me. after i turned 21 it wasw a book that made sense, mostly because alcohol did, ive lost the taste for it now, aside from wine on occasion at a fancy pance resturaunt...i like ignoring the snootyness of it and ordering on pure ignorance.
Thompson wrote fear and loathing in las vegas for those of you not familiar with the name, at the time the movie was released i had absolutely no interest in anything it was about.
after reading the rum diaries i read fear and loathing....one of my favorite writers died today.

i write this shit here because no one knows me..... strangers listening its easier to say...
one of my favorite journalists/authors/guys....writers died today and it hurts like a full bottle the morning after.
