twenty random things about me
- i don't think i have ever lived up to my fullest potential, and this disappoints me.
- if i'm outside at night during a loud thunderstorm, i am terrified that all of the monsters and ghosts from my mind and my past will come tearing from the sky to confront me and rip me to shreds.
- i used to grab boys crotches from 1st-3rd grade, and they didn't seem to mind. but i stopped when i moved because i didn't know anyone anymore.
- i first saw a penis when i was about 7 years old when me and my neighbor of the same age agreed 'i'll show you mine if you show me yours'.
- when i was about 7 or 8, some friends and i were playing in the woods and made mud-and-poop-pies with our own poop.
- i have been interested in sex since i was a little kid though did not actually have sex until i was 18.
- i got my hair cut short senior year of high school and everyone thought i was a lesbian. soon, other people were getting their hair cut short and i was being asked out by members of the girls field hockey team. i felt bad letting them down.
- if i turn around a few times, i have to turn back the other way as many times, or else i'll feel like my soul is getting all wound-up. this is mainly in the shower when i have to turn for soap or rinsing.
- i hate smudges on my sunglasses.
- even though my mom says i once loved peas, for as long as i can remember i have hated them. there was a peas-eating contest on tv the other day and it made me feel sick to watch it. they taste horrible.
- i don't eat much chocolate. i'd rather have fruit snacks. like gushers or fruit roll-ups.
- i like my seafood cold; sushi, shrimp, fresh oysters, etc.
- in my driveway fantasies as a kid, i always played an entire cast of characters. usually all boys, in some sort of bmx bike gang. they had stories and drama and everything. i would be about 5 different people for an entire afternoon. i was usually by myself and there were rarely girls in my mind gangs.
- years later, i do the same thing at my jobs. i always seem to have a lot of thinking time, and whole stories and scripts form themselves in my mind. they are always really fucking good and heart-wrenching and take place in the 80's. then i clock-out and go home.
- after my grandfather dies, my dad will be the only one left in his family. this makes me incredibly sad for him and i'm not looking forward to that day.
- my english teacher in 8th grade used me as example to explain adjectives. she said i had a deep and sexy voice. this embarrassed me but also made me think it was pretty cool for a teacher to say that. i haven't been as sensitive about having a deep voice since then.
- a lot of my thoughts and fantasies revolve around the magic i held in the world as a child. i still think it's there and i don't want to lose it.
- i was vegan for a day before i wanted a hamburger.
- i don't regret anything in my life.
