ugh, work has been long and annoying these past couple of weeks. busy busy busy for a few hours, then totally dead for a few more. the best shift so far was actually a 2-5 a.m. overnighter, because it was both over the course of hours that i am usually awake, AND we were busy the entire time setting up a huge show.
cue tonight, as i sit around for 5 hours for events to break while i check journals and forums and read and play super mario ds endlessly. sounds fun, but it verges on cabin fever. i have long ago stopped watching the office teevee. we have decent channels, but i just can't be arsed listening to that shit anymore.
i rarely even have the teevee on when i'm alone now. good for movies and games, but that's about it. a reality show late at night or 'boston legal' with my dad is as much as it gets, lately.
my late nights after work are filled with alternating one-armed online poker, as i lift weights with the other.
i wish my hamster would come out and play more.
