Spring break started at 2:55 p.m. I have one glorious week of freedom before I have to go back for the critical haul...three weeks of prep before Gateway testing for my 10th grade students. I signed an "extended contract" to teach test prep sessions three days a week after school until Gateway.
Next week I'm going to talk to the chair of the languages dept. at a local college. They offer an ESL program, and I'd only have to take six classes to get endorsed in ESL. I think that will give me more career options in the long run.
So, who wants cake?
