So I would like to say first that today is a day of remembrance for the people who lost their lives on September 11th 5 years ago along with those great people who gave their lives selflessly to try and save others. That day will never be forgotten. It was a horrible day for the USA and I would like to put up a few photos from that day just for a little memorial/remembrance thing

So many lives were lost. Most of them innocent people. Of course there was some non innocent people on those planes. I will never forget this day it will be etched in my mind forever.

I am so sleepy but I wanted to get on here and post a new journal today for that reason.
I have closed the last 2 nights in a row at work and I close again tonight. I am so tired and I am going to take a nap after I get done with this journal/blog. I didnt get home on saturday night till after 1am and last night at about 1am and tonight I hope we can get out of there quick cause I just want to come home and relax I hate closing
Thursday is Seans birthday.He will be 28. I am cooking him dinner. I am either making Steak and mashed potatoes and some vegtable. Or Roast, Potatoes and Carrots I havent decided yet. He like both a lot and I want us to have a nice romantic dinner for 2 at home. I hope he enjoys it. I am also gonna go and get a Coldstone Creamery ice cream cake for him. He doesnt know I am though. I am thinking this one

I am off Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday this week. My manager is pissed at me right now cause we got into the other night and he was being a jerk so i was being one back. It was all over me needing to request a day off he says I request to many days off. well sorry I have a life and I have things I have to do. he can be a dick sometimes

what were you doing this day 5 years ago?
i was still in high school but when i got home all i did was watch tv and think how could something like this happen and i was so sad to think of everyone who lost a loved one. it was devastating.

as for your question of the day...i was home from college for lunch and i was watching trashy daytime tv. i remember the news cutting in half way through the show i was watching, saying that a light aircraft had crashed into the WTC. i remember vivdly how i was watching the guy interviewing a witness when the second plane flew by and hit the second tower...it was...unreal. it was as if i was watching a hollywood movie or something...i couldn't believe that all this crazy stuff was unfolding right before my eyes. like nikonphoto80 said above, i don't think anybody will ever forget that day. my heart goes out to everyone who was affected <3
5 years ago? i was watching patton on video, at home on my day off. then when i stopped the video to eat, i saw the world trade centers on tv. i tuned in just before the second plane hit. then i got pissed when the news anchor apologized because some guy next to the camera said," oh fuck... oh shit". what else was the guy gonna say? Thats what we were all thinking.
