This morning I had a dream about beating someone up, I think they where driving a mini and did something that upset my friend Dave and myself.

Rather unusually for me I then punched this person in the face, the face was kind of thin and pale and fairly artificial. Each blow seemed slow, but went further than the target, they where clearly not supposed to be superficial. The face received many blows then I discarded him like a doll..I seemed very angry. Then realised what I had done and a kind of shock set in, the kind that hits your stomach and makes you feel sick and panicky.

Then Dave and I where running away, well not really running we seemed fairly relaxed, we where talking, but we where evading the police. It was at this point that Dave decided to tell me that I was ineffectual or at least something to that effect

I was pointing out that beating a man to a bloody pulp was pretty effectual - I mean we where avoiding getting caught by the police after all; it had an effect.

I don't recall Dave's reply, but he seemed rather unconvinced. I think that it was probably at this point that I woke up and realised I was late getting up... again.
