So I'm working on a logo for a company for a female friend. She said she would pay me but I mentioned we could use the barter system. 
So we're going to work out how much she wants to pay me when I'm done.
I said I'd do it for free at the start so...whatever she pays is a nice bonus.
Have you ever looked at someone's place and thought it looked awesome and they way they decorated it was fantastic and cool!!!
Yeah...that's not my place. I have no idea how to get that in my place. I've got stuff...but I don't really like any of it.
I think I should clean and clear out most of it and start from scratch.

I'd try just painting the walls a different color: something unusual but not freaky so you can live with it for a while. I managed to talk my landlord into letting me paint my front/living room a burnt orange color, and it really warms up the whole place and brings out the natural woodwork trim nicely. The landlord calls it "menstruation brown" (because he is such a charming and feministic fellow) but I retorted that since he painted my bathroom maxi-pad blue, we are even.
